• Public consultation on the ONR's interpretation of 'bulk quantities' of radioactive matter
  This consultation outlines ONR's proposed approach to the definition of 'bulk quantities' of radioactive matter. The nuclear site licensing regime currently applies to a set of defined activities, which include the storage of bulk quantities of radioactive matter. Consultation began on 19 September 2011 and ended on 12 December 2011.

• CD237 – Proposals on Revised Control of Asbestos Regulations
  This consultation sets out HSE's proposals to introduce revised Control of Asbestos Regulations to implement the changes required to comply with the European Commission's reasoned opinion on the UK Government's transposition of Directive 83/477/EEC as amended by 2003/18/EC on the protection of workers from the risks of exposure to asbestos at work.  Consultation began on 05 September 2011 and ended on 04 November 2011.

• CD236 – Proposed Replacement for the Licensing Regime for Adventure Activities Established Under the Activity Centres (Young Persons’ Safety) Act 1995 in England
  This Consultation Document sets out proposals for replacement arrangements for adventure activities following the planned abolition of the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.  Consultation began on 29 June 2011 and ended on 21 September 2011.

• CD235 - HSE proposal for extending cost recovery
  This consultation sets out the HSE proposal to revise the Fees Regulations to reinstate existing fees and to extend the range of activities for which HSE recovers costs. Consultation began on 22 July 2011 and ended on 14 October 2011. 
• CD234 - Proposals to implement the third list of indicative occupational exposure limit values (Commission directive 2009/161/EU) consultative document.
  This Consultative Document sets out the proposal from HSE to implement the European Commissions 3rd Indicative Occupational Exposure Limit Values (IOELV) Directive (2009/161/EU) through the national system of Worker Exposure Limits (WELs). Consultation began on 2 June 2011 and ended on 4 August 2011.
• CD233 - Proposed amendment to the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR)
  This consultation sets out the amendment to regulation 3(2) of the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR) proposed by Lord Young in his report "Common Sense, Common Safety". If adopted, the period of incapacitation after which an injury to a person at work must be reported to the enforcing authority, will change from over three to over seven days. It seeks views on the proposal itself and on the impacts that it would have if it became law. The consultation began on 31 January 2011 and ended on 29 April 2011.
• User consultation – tell us what your priorities are for health and safety statistics. This consultation ran from 28 February to 11 April 2011.
• Classroom risk assessment consultation
  HSE has worked in collaboration with DfE and the devolved administrations to develop a tool. It enables you to produce a tailored assessment by selecting the relevant hazards and thinking about how you control them. This questionnaire seeks views on the functionality and usability of the tool and views as to how it compares to DfE's/HSE's other guidance on risk assessment. Consultation started on 22 November 2010 and ended on 4 February 2011.
• Charity shop risk assessment consultation
  This consultation introduces HSE's latest online risk assessment tool, for low-risk charity shops. The consultation seeks comments on the usability of the tool and how it compares with HSE's other risk assessment guidance.The consultation started on 23 December 2010 and ended on 16 March 2011.
• Shop risk assessment consultation
  This consultation seeks comments from people who have tried HSE's demonstration of an online risk assessment tool for small low-risk shops. It seeks views on the usability of the tool and how it compares to HSE's other risk assessment guidance. The consultation started on 15 December 2010 and ended on 8 March 2011.
• Office risk assessment consultation
  This consultation seeks comments from users of HSE's new online risk assessment tool for low-risk office-based environments. It seeks views on the usability of the tool and how it compares to HSE's other risk assessment guidance. The consultation started on 15 October 2010 and ended on 7 January 2011.
