Industry Advisory Committees (IAC’s) provide the Health and Safety Commission (HSC) and Executive (HSE) with an additional and major source of expertise and advice on specific health and safety matters and issues. AIAC is concerned with health and safety in agriculture.
HSC is committed to being open about what it does. It wants people to have an opportunity to see its committees work and reach decisions. The next AIAC meeting is open to observers.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend the AIAC open meeting.
The meeting is a formal business meeting with a specific agenda.
All observers will be required to register that they wish to attend by sending an email to nick.sangha@hse.gsi.gov.uk before the meeting. No-one will be admitted to the meeting who has not registered.
The meeting will be held at NFU Scotland’s (NFUS) Head Office in Edinburgh Rural Centre, West Mains, Ingliston, Edinburgh, EH28 8LT.
It will begin at 10.00am and finish at around 13.30.
Lunch and refreshments will be available.
The meeting will be attended by HSE’s Director, Scotland.
Members of the meeting will not be permitted to bring placards, banners or notices into the meeting room. Photography, video or sound recording of the proceedings will not be permitted without permission.
