The Shipbuilding and Ship-repair Health and Safety Consultative Committee (SSHSCC) was wound up in 2005 and there are currently no plans to replace it with a similar committee. HSE Manufacturing Sector still maintains links with the ship building and ship repair industry via an industry led forum and trade associations.
